100% Solids (solvent free) High Performance Polyurethane coating provide exceptional, long term protection where severe corrosive environments, abrasion or impact problems exist.

Product Features:

100% Solids coatings do not contain any solvents. Zero V.O.C. They coat free of pinholes, holidays, blisters or craters and cure with no shrinkage.

Unlimited Build Coatings can be applied from 0.5mm to 2mm thickness.

Highly Impermeable to most liquids and has very low water vapor transmission. Tests indicate completely prevents transmission of Oxygen.

Cathodic Disbondment protection voltages will not cause blisters or peeling.

Adhesion It has excellent adhesion to steel. High adhesion prevents mechanical damage as well as disbondment in service by factors such as soil stress.

High Cohesion: It has excellent tensile strength, elasticity and flexibility. A one mm coating on steel plate will bend over a 8 mm mandrel without cracking. And can operate over a wide temperature range without cracking, disbondment, flow or degradation.

High Chemical Resistance: It is impervious to water, sea water, salt solutions, raw and oxygenated sewage, bleaches, petroleum, vegetable oils, and many specialty chemicals. It resists nearly all acids and bases. High resistance prevents degradation due to cathodically generated alkali.

Excellent Weather Resistance: It has excellent resistance to ultraviolet radiation as well as degradation by severe weather conditions. Accelerated weathering test for over 2,000 hours show no effect on the coating other than a change in color and slight surface chalking.

Excellent Application Characteristics: These coatings are spray applied using plural component airless spray equipment offering high application rates. No heating, baking or after treatment is required. Useful for both shop as well as field applications. It is ideal pipeline rehabilitation. The applied coating cures rapidly and can be water immersed in 2 hours. Unlike most other 100% Solids Polyurethanes, the “Hybrid” Purethane coatings are hydrophobic in nature and are practically unaffected by damp environments during spray. It will cure at temperatures as low as (-) 40°C.

Environmental Safe: Cured Polyurethane is highly inert, non-toxic, odourless and non-conducive to bacterial growth. It has negligible leach rate. Ideal for potable water applications.
